Leiam Sullivan
Engineer / Artist / Producer

Leiam Sullivan began his musical journey DJ’ing in the raves and on the pirate airwaves of 90's-something Sheffield and continued it on to Ibiza, Miami, London, Moscow, Chicago and most places in between!  Residencies include iconic clubs such as PACHA, THE CROSS, NICHE and the legendary RISE night at THE LEADMILL.

In 1993 he co-founded his first label Beeswax and released tracks as THE FOOTCLUB, TOM TOM and HOOF. He then went on to sign to the Chicago label Mindfood (owned by Cheese ”Hot Mix 5”) and released tracks under new monikers – 22 TANGO and MR PINK.

It was thanks to an opportunity from Johnny Walker (Champion/ Cheeky Records) that MR PINK remixed Rollo’s “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE” which hit number one in Mix Mag’s Buzz Chart and Club Chart in 1997 and led to more remix work as Leiam was taken on by management giants DMC.

In 1998 he set up PHUZZ recordings with 3 mates – two of which were The Lisa Marie Experience, one of which went on to be D.Ramirez and all of them were TRICKSTER who had a top 20 hit with “MOVE ON UP”

Leiam was invited by Cheese to work at Mark Picchiotti ‘s Mark! Productions in Chicago. It’s here that he met Singer Songwriter Keithen Carter, who would later become MAX LINEN”S  “THE SOULSHAKER” (Global Cuts)  - the anthem at the closing parties of SPACE and MANUMISSION 2001!        During this time he also produced and engineered for ASHLANDS “CLEAR” (AudioTherapy), produced “CHOCOLATE ROOM” by PUNK KIDZ (Duty Free) and MR PINK PRESENTS THE PROGRAM charted with “LOVE & AFFECTION” (Manifesto)

In 2004 he began working with Alex Arnout, writing and producing as CERAMIX, who remixed “POWERSTATION” (Toolroom) and produced “CAN YOU DANCE” (Phonetic).  They also set up DOGMATIK RECORDS, which put out their last CERAMIX release “DON’T STOP” in 2006, the same year Alex took over the label and moved it to London to become the cult house label it is today!

In 2006 Leiam began writing and producing with James Mowbray (Mixmag) and as MOWBRAY & SULLIVAN they released several tracks including TROPICAL HEIGHTS (Four:Twenty) and COSMIC POWERS (Four:Twenty)

Since 2008 Leiam has been in “stealth mode” - engineering and producing for other artists featuring on labels such as Universal, Viva, Fear of Flying, Be As One, Open Bar, Cr2, Soulfuric Deep and Blacklist, to name a few. Artistically he can also be found writing, producing and performing as LAST VINYL GENERATION and running newly formed indie label DELI RECORDS, which he co-owns.
